Bad Fan Fic (PG)

  • Jeff Bushnik
  • Panel Room Dino

It’s called Bad Fan Fiction but really what this is all about is finding the best darn choices that people make. You want to write a Seinfeld episode that never was? Cool! Giv’er! You do you! Maybe you’ll end up on Curb Your Enthusiasm! I don’t know what you want out of life! And I’ll probably never read it either. Just not my ja- Oh, sorry, what’s that? This Seinfeld episode actually puts him in Sex And The City but the city in question is Ancient Troy? Okay, now I HAVE to read it. But that’s what I’m talking about! Choices! Conan The Barbarian? Boring! Conan Barbarino and he’s played by John Travolta? Heck, yeah! Hazbin Hotel? I don’t care! Has Been Hotel and it’s just a bunch of washed up actors doing a bad reality show? Book me a room! I don’t care if your grammar or spelling is bad (although I will reed it az u rote it) I care if your choices are BONKERS. New trick up this year’s sleeve: -A breakdown of a real Star Trek book that nearly made me have a breakdown. I’ll be referring to this as Codename Pollock.

L'ART with Vaughn

  • Vaughn MacDonald
  • Somewhere at CaperCon?

The fine visitors of Capercon of course know good art. Its exactly what the event is about, from Anime to Comics, Cosplay to Dancin', Gaming 'nd Larpin'! With my 14 minutes of experience, I will be haunting the convention floor, with everything I need (and probably a ton of stuff I don't) to "ART". Swing by and appreciate the artistic integrity as I struggle with the basics, Painting whatever catches my Whimsy, or whatever is suggested, I'm pretty easy going. Come say hello, have a laugh and hopefully we'll all learn something! Everything I paint will be up for sale on Sunday during a second panel, where it will be auctioned off! Also keep an eye out at some of your favourite Panels, as I've been given the OK to show up and paint those as well! (For transparency sake, I've never lifted a paint brush in my life. Art is hard, and usually if I'm not good at something in 20 minutes I give up, but I've committed to a weekend of this!!)

Bad Fan Fic (18+)

  • Jeff Bushnik
  • Panel Room Dino

Another year dedicated to the most wild choices made in the world of fan fiction. But with adult language and adult situations. Like doing taxes and having awkward conversations at funerals with a cousin you haven’t seen since you were 12. But funny. I should honestly just copy the text I have for the PG description but add *&^$ and !@%# every few words. A year later and I still have people telling me I ruined Weedle on them. So come join me, Jeff Bushnik, on a tasteless trip through truly tacktastic tales! I was going to end this with my favourite new quote, “A burden shared is a burden halved,” but Google tells me the full quote ends with “or doubled”, and, well, yeah. It’ll be a communicable experi- I mean, a communal experience. New trick up this year’s sleeve: -A fan fic written by a real-life local who gave me permission to share something he wrote twenty years ago. I’m lovin’ it.
