Biography
The Local NPC has been Cape Breton’s main source of comics, games and collectibles for 13 years. We are happy to be supporting CaperCon since the beginning, and many more years to come. When you are looking for anything nerdy, if we don’t have it, we will do our best to find it for you.
Chad Flemming Memorial Crusade
In February 2024 we lost a member of our gaming community in Chad Flemming. The Local NPC Games & Comics is hosting a Warhammer 40k Exhibition game in his memory. As this event will be held at CaperCon, you can preregister with us by messaging The Local NPC Games and Comics and you will receive a day pass for CaperCon Sunday for $5.00. (Prepayment to us will be required by the May 22nd.)
Entry to the 40k game is pay what you can. This entry fee for the Warhammer Event will also give you a single entry into the raffle for prizes. (Prizes will be given out in the raffle, which consist of new in box warhammer models like the following: Morkanaut, Baneblade, Mortarion, Primaris Repulsor Executioner, and Angron)
Raffle tickets for these prizes can be purchased outside of the event. So, you do not have to participate in the gameplay to win those prizes
Tickets will be $2.00 each or 3 tickets for $5.00. All proceeds from the entry (pay what you can), raffle and donation jar will go to the Glace Bay food bank and the Cape Breton SPCA divided evenly in Chad’s memory as these are the charities he was most passionate about after discussing with Chad’s family. Winner of the event will have your name/team’s put on the trophy and it will be displayed at The Local NPC as we will be making this an annual event.
