Known for its electric gameplay and flashy combos, this is a game that is sure to draw in a crowd. Whether you haven’t played the game since you were a kid, have only played the new ones, or are just looking to have a good time this tournament is for all to join. The tournament is going to be double elimination format. Meaning you have to lose two sets to be eliminated from the bracket. All sets will be best of 3 until top 8 where they will switch to best of 5. Some matches will be streamed to Twitch as well.

In February 2024 we lost a member of our gaming community in Chad Flemming. The Local NPC Games & Comics is hosting a Warhammer 40k Exhibition game in his memory. As this event will be held at CaperCon, you can preregister with us by messaging The Local NPC Games and Comics and you will receive a day pass for CaperCon Sunday for $5.00. (Prepayment to us will be required by the May 22nd.) Entry to the 40k game is pay what you can. This entry fee for the Warhammer Event will also give you a single entry into the raffle for some great prizes. Raffle tickets for these prizes can be purchased outside of the event. So, you do not have to participate in the gameplay to win those prizes. Tickets will be $2.00 each or 3 tickets for $5.00. All proceeds from the entry (pay what you can), raffle and donation jar will go to the Glace Bay food bank and the Cape Breton SPCA divided evenly in Chad’s memory as these are the charities he was most passionate about after discussing with Chad’s family.
